A lovely 9 holes of parkland golf in the grounds of Gilling Castle

See the course plan and card, read a little of the history of the course, enjoy the photo album, or try a round of virtual golf from your armchair.

Green fees (pay and play at all times)

Enjoy a full day for £15 or just pay £10 for 9 holes ... more details. You can wear what you like as long as it’s fairly tidy and your shoes won’t harm the greens or slip on the slopes (trainers are fine in dry weather). Please don’t share a golf bag - we have some spare bags you can borrow ... more details. Check the calendar for club events, and please give way to college pupils in afternoon games periods.

Facilities (at the clubhouse and our local pub)

Visitors have access to changing rooms and toilets in the clubhouse. The Fairfax Arms does good lunches and excellent evening meals, with a choice of Black Sheep or Tetleys on draught.
